MLK Weekend 2026

UUCA has an incredible lineup planned. Join us for opportunities to engage in acts of justice, enjoy inspiring evening concerts, and honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. all weekend long.

“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.”
– Theodore Parker

We will have an artist-in-residence this weekend. David Amoroso’s work will be on display in the Reeb Center beginning Friday evening. He will also create a work in real time.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quoted Unitarian theologian Theodore Parker, stating, “The Arc of the Moral Universe is Long, but it Bends Toward Justice.” What does it mean to fight for justice, even if we may not see the outcomes ourselves? How many have paved the way ahead of us? Join us for an evening of song to honor our ancestors, acknowledge the work ahead, and celebrate the joy of community.
