Our New to UU classes are designed to help you explore Unitarian Universalism, learn more about UUCA, connect with others, and discover what membership means. Whether you’re brand new or have been attending for a while, these sessions are a wonderful next step.

Looking for a way to deepen your connections at UUCA? Join us for our Affinity Group Fair on Sunday, September 13!
Affinity Groups are a wonderful way to build community with others who share similar interests, identities, or life experiences. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, explore a shared passion, or simply find a place to belong, there’s a group for you. Stop by after the service to meet group facilitators, learn about the many groups we offer, ask questions, and discover how you can get involved. We hope you’ll find a community that feels like home. Everyone is welcome!
Fall Peace Circles with Little Friends for Peace
Join Little Friends for Peace for an ongoing series of Peace Circles this fall. Each session offers a chance to reflect, connect, and grow in community around a central theme. All are welcome!

It’s that time again! The Round Robin Bridge group will meet on Friday,
September 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., to kick off the new season. Each pair plays one
other pair monthly from October to April in our homes, with a party in May. (Only
the kickoff is at church.) We welcome newcomers, but you must have a knowledge
of bridge fundamentals. Come with or without a partner, and let us know if you’d
like to play but cannot make it September 11. We will play some bridge, update
our roster and try to match any unpaired players. Feel free to bring snacks and
drinks. We have no dues, but we do invite a $25 annual donation per person ($50
per pair) to benefit the summer Peace Camp. Make your check payable to
“UUCA” with “Round Robin Bridge” on the memo line.
The UUCA’s Annual Services Auction is on Saturday, November 7
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is almost here—a night of connection, laughter, generosity, and a little bit of magic as we gather to support the congregation we love.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Donate an auction item! Host a dinner, share a skill, create artwork, bake treats, offer pet care, or dream up something uniquely you.

Are you new to UUCA? We’re so glad you’re here! There are so many wonderful ways to get connected in our community. Join us for Coffee Hour in the Fellowship Hall after our 10:15 service, or, if you’d prefer a quieter connection, stop by the Welcome Room to chat with one of our Open Arms Ambassadors. They’d love to meet you and get to know you! The Welcome Room is open from 11:30 to 12:00. Take moment to stop by our Welcome Desk to learn even more about what’s happening at UUCA!

Care Partner Support Group Meets 3rd Thursdays, 2:30pm in the Welcome Room
| Are you the Caregiver for a loved one? While the caregiver journey can be difficult and lonely, you are not alone! Our small informal group offers empathetic support and sharing as we navigate similar paths together. We meet at 2:30 – 3:30 at UUCA on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Grief Group- I Still Miss Someone Meets 2nd Mondays, 2pm in the Welcome Room
This lay-led group intends to engage and support as we share the experience of losing a loved one – a spouse, partner, family member, or a beloved friend. Over the course of an hour, we will share stories and support one another on our grief journeys. Losing a loved one is challenging. there’s a special community to be found among those who are also dealing with death and loss, and who know the terrain of the country of grief. Together we will offer one another companionship on this most difficult of life’s journeys. Want more information? Buddhist Fellowship
Monday: Meditation and Dharma Talk

A meditation and dharma talk with an opportunity for sharing afterward is offered in partnership with the Insight Meditation Community of Washington (IMCW). Held in the Activity Room on the lower level and simultaneously on Zoom. Wednesday: Hour of Silence
7:30 pm-8:45 pm, UUCA Room 20 (Youth Room)
Join us in Room 20 on Wednesday evenings for an hour of in-person silent sitting and/or walking meditation or contemplation, followed by mindful discussion. We enjoy this opportunity to ground ourselves in the middle of our busy week.
