Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Activities

A true indication of a church’s commitment to its values are the connections it makes through service to others.  Creating volunteer opportunities for our friends and members brings them closer to the area community and to each other.  It could be helping to deliver food through Meals on Wheels, bagging lunches for ASPAN, packaging potatoes for AFAC, or assisting someone with a ride to church.

We also have a strong connection to the local immigrant community and share food and cultural experiences whenever possible.   For even greater outreach, UUCA organizes service trips for our youth and adults to places like New Orleans, the Hopi Indian Reservation, Appalachia, and Guatemala so we can learn and grow personally and experience the gift of giving of ourselves.

UUCA is a place for sharing of ourselves and connecting with others through service.  For more information on volunteer opportunities and how you can get involved, please contact Sarah Masters, Director of Congregational Life
