Youth Service & Mother's Day present

First I have to say that the UUCA Youth Group rocks.  For 23 years I have been watching Youth Group services at this church, and I have always been impressed.  I was a lot younger and single when I started attending these services, and then I was the parent of a small child (who, I recently discovered, was singing "Go now, in cheese" as she left children's chapel every week), and then before I knew it, for the last four years, I was the parent of one of the youth putting on this great annual service.  

I know it's the culmination of a lot of team-building, and it really is only a glimpse into the world of Youth Group. And it is a privilege for us to share this glimpse.  So thank you.  Great job.

Now - for those of you who attended first service today and want to know what CC's Mother's Day present to me was - during the second service she got the whole congregation to shout out "Happy Mother's Day" - to me, and to all the moms in the church.  So thank you, baby.  It was lovely.  And yes, she really is very sneaky.  The service was a wonderful gift.
