VOICE Solidarity Action with Immigrant Youth: Sunday, April 25th, 2-4pm

V.O.I.C.E. (Virginians Organized for Interfaith Community Engagement) invites you to a solidarity action on April 25th with the young adults participating in the “Trail of Dreams”. Four brave students have been walking from Florida to DC in order to bring awareness to the lack of opportunity for higher education for undocumented youth. These students represent millions of young people who were brought to the U.S. by their families when they were young, and through no fault of their own, inherited the title of undocumented immigrant.

Come hear their stories and the stories of young leaders from the Arlington Diocese, as well as the perspective of professionals that work with immigrant youth and their families.

The event will take place next Sunday from 2-4pm at Church of the Nativity in Burke, VA, 6400 Nativity Lane. We would like everyone arrive by 2pm and be seated by 2:15pm so that we can start promptly at 2:30pm.
