VOICE Action in South Fairfax County Gets TV Coverage

VOICE got on the TV News June 11th!  An Action in Southern Fairfax County brought together 400 people - students, teachers, church leaders, parents, and elected and appointed officials - to bring attention to a long-standing problem.  The schools and neighborhoods have poor or no recreation facilities for thousands of children.  In the rich county of Fairfax, the Route One corridor is often forgotten.

The politicians recognized that this is the largest and most diverse, broad-based turnout they had ever seen for the people living in these neighborhoods.  Thanks to VOICE, the County will begin to pay attention and take their concerns seriously.
