The Power of Youth

In case you missed the services yesterday, we had an incredible Youth Sunday Service- as usual! ;)

I was blown away by the talents of our UU youth, we even had rapping this year! The personal statements of the youth were powerful, insightful and intelligent- and from the reaction I received, thought-provoking for all ages. It's always incredible to see the power the youth yield in our community in being the catalysts for leading change. Is it any surprise that they have the courage to stand up and speak their minds about their personal convictions to adults, challenge anti-bullying discrimination, and rally the whole church around a year long fundraising campaign to go to Justice GA? I believe they gave us a glimpse of what youth can do around the world to change their whole country when faced with discrimination.
