The Dream Act, a bill to grant legal status to hundreds of
thousands of illegal immigrant students, fell 5 votes short
of being brought to the Senate floor for debate.

These young people have literally put their lives and futures on the line for this. They have sat-in at Congressional offices and put themselves on hunger strikes. I think Immigration will try to deport the DREAMERS now that the bill has failed. We have to be prepared to call immigration to make sure they don't get deported. We might even have to consider giving them sanctuary in our churches.
