You will receive size, favorite colors, cartoon characters, etc. that will help you shop for an individual child.

UUCA has had a long association with Sullivan House, a transitional housing program for women and families. But Sullivan House is part of a wider Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless (AACH) network that helps homeless families find housing, and other services that help get them back to a stable life. Once again UUCA is participating in the AACH "Look Cool for School" program.

Once again UUCA is participating in the AACH "Look Cool for School" program.

There are three ways to participate:

1. Be matched with an area homeless child who needs some help getting back to school clothes. Please fill out the online form to become a Look Cool for School sponsor. You will receive size, favorite colors, cartoon or movie characters, etc. that will help you shop for an individual child.

2. Donate a retail clothing store gift card (Target, Old Navy, Macys) in any amount.

3. Donate cash or write a check.

There will be a Sullivan House Table during Coffee Hours:
Sun. Aug. 1,
Sun. 8, &
Sun. Aug. 15

At this table, we will accept your donations, and be available to tell you more about Sullivan House and the AACH.
