How To Be A Volunteer: "Playing Well Together"

This Saturday, April 21, from 10 till noon, I will be leading the final session of the Deepening Connections series. This week, we will be providing tips for effective participation in a volunteer capacity. This program can help you not only in your volunteer life at church, but the skills and information can provide a good basis for participation in the world of non-profit social justice groups. So if you are interested in getting the most out of your commitments at church, AND you want to learn how you can be more effective in volunteering for a wide range of social justice organizations, please do show up.

Sorry I'll miss it--volunteering for UUCA at the Healthy Congregations workshop in Pennsylvania, along with five other energetic UUCA volunteers. "Deepening Connections" is fun and worthwhile. I hope a lot of people will attend.
