Alexandra Roth Joins Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees has appointed Alexandra Roth to fill a vacancy on the Board, to serve until a congregational meeting on March 21.

Alex has been a member of UUCA for five years. She has been an usher, an OWL teacher, a Mistletoe Mall volunteer and liaison with Sullivan House, the Arlington family shelter. Her two teeenage children, Graham and Honora, have gone through the Religious Education program. Her husband, Peter Overby, also is a UUCA member.

Alex is a psychotherapist with a degree in social work. Her previous leadership experiences include chairing the fundraising auction of the Arlington Unitarian Cooperative Preschool (which UUCA houses) and Promenade, a middle-school dance and etiquette program. Her other interests include reading and writing fiction, and eating candy.

The trustees are pleased to welcome Alex, who has dived into Board work with purpose.
