The Next-Hired Minister...

Friends--

There's been a dialogue about diversity in ministry on the UUCAVA Social Justice yahoo group that intrigues me and parallels a dialogue going on in my head. It might be worth sharing my views here about who I hope our "next-hired" minister will be.

Having been through many diverse struggles around race and culture, I have an odd perspective.

Ultimately I don't think the difference—the issue—lies in the color of one's skin or the language one…
