- What does multiculturalism mean to you?
- I am interested in other languages, speak French and read Spanish, etc... and in other cultures.
- What religion or spiritual practices did you grow up with?
- Anglican (Episcopalian)
- Tell us a little about yourself/your family/your interests:
- I am single, divorced from my second wife. I was a spousal caregiver -- married for 29 years to my first wife, who had a chronic illness for 27 of those years, and who died of liver cancer in 2004.
- Why are you a Unitarian Universalist?
- I initially came to the church to sing with the choir -- I like to sing! Then I discovered the fellowship here, and I like what I see. I am interested in social justice, certainly; and in spirituality. I am already quite involved as an activist with the Well Spouse Association, http://wellspouse.org . I see that volunteer work also fitting in with one of the church's missions, of service to others.
