- Tell us a little about yourself/your family/your interests:
- I am proud to be the lead team minister for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, and I have been a UU minister for 35 years plus, having served UU congregations in Roanoke, Virginia, Meadville, Pennsylvania, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Cleveland, Ohio, as well as two interims in Adelaide, Australia. My wife Emilie Richards is an author and we have four children and an incredible grand-daughter. I love to garden, read, travel, and bike. I am now on sabbatical leave from the church and will return on March 1 with many stories and revelations to share.

Wow! I am so moved and overjoyed by the incredible farewell our congregation gave me over the weekend. The party on Saturday night was incredible with a cornucopia of delicious food and touching testimonials and beautiful music. I was proud to show you off to my 16 family members who were here and who kept commenting about the good cooks and great choirs and wonderful people we have at UUCA. Scott's ride across the country
My friend, Scott Alexander, who is the senior minister at the Vero Beach UU Fellowship, and who exchanged pulpits with me in January, has been raising funds to help end hunger by biking across the country. Yesterday he finished his ride with a big finale and splash party in Vero. Scott raised more than $50,000. You can find out more at…
