- How long have you attended UUCAVA?
- For about 6 years, with varying consistency, I think.
- What does multiculturalism mean to you?
- Openness to Life, to all possibilities. Everyone has a seat at the table and everything is in abundance for all. Many beautifully harmonizing voices, One Heart.
- What religion or spiritual practices did you grow up with?
- Presbyterian - Northeastern progressive brand
- Tell us a little about yourself/your family/your interests:
- Most people in the church who know us think of my husband "Bari" John Ramsey and myself as the musical duo, "Hearts of Sound", as we play in church maybe 3 times a year and have also played for other events, coffee houses, etc. We have definitely focused on our musical side in recent years.
I have multiple other interests, and will write more as time goes on...
- Why are you a Unitarian Universalist?
- I have loved that it is one of the most expansive and embracing faith communities, generally. There is an underlying pure-hearted intention in UUism to both honor the individual's life path and spiritual journey while also honoring the spirit of community and diversity and "We'll all get there together."
