- What does multiculturalism mean to you?
- To me, multiculturalism means respect for people who come from different backgrounds and ways of viewing the world around them.
- What religion or spiritual practices did you grow up with?
- I was baptised & confirmed in the Episcopal Church. Chose to be a member of a Mennonite congregation as an adult.
- Tell us a little about yourself/your family/your interests:
- I am a freelance writer (primarily marketing communications). I am single and live in Annandale. My recently married daughter, Anna, lives in Arlington. I love to travel, visit museums (especially art museums), play Scrabble, garden and cook (if there is someone to cook for/with).
- Why are you a Unitarian Universalist?
- I do not define myself as a Unitarian Universalist, as I have been attending UUCA for only a short time. I am attracted by the open-mindedness and social consciousness that seem to prevail among the members I have met.
