Profile Information

How long have you attended UUCAVA?
8 years
What does multiculturalism mean to you?
An open attitude towards the cultures, mores and myths of different people and places; an opportunity to expand my understanding of the world and the worldviews that others bring to my community.
What religion or spiritual practices did you grow up with?
congregationalism
Tell us a little about yourself/your family/your interests:
I am the single head of household with two wonderful girls. Though I grew up in Massachusetts, most of my family lives in Northern Virginia and they are a great source of support to us. I am passionate about the rights of those with brain disorders and others with chronic illnesses that serve to isolate them from the community.
Why are you a Unitarian Universalist?
I chose to become a Unitarian for the community of like-minded people who are all more interested in exploring the questions than settling upon answers.
