2011-12 Religious Education Dates

January     

8 – RE resumes and 1^st grade OWL orientation between services

15- March 11 – 1^st grade in OWL (not going to church or Festival Sundays)

29 – Winter Festival Sunday  (grades K, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, perhaps 5^th)

February    

5  - Chili CUUK-off   (following 2^nd service)

26 – Bells Festival Sunday (grades K, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th , 6^th, 7^th)

March Madness – Recruitment for 2012-2013 teams

March 18 – RE Teacher Recognition in both services

25 – Peace Festival Sunday (grades K, 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th)

April  

8 – Easter Sunday  - RE Learning Groups if possible? Egg Hunt following each service

 22 – Earth Day Festival  (grades K, 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th)

 29 – Coming of Age Sunday

May   

13 – Youth Group Service  / Mothers Day (grades 3^rd and older invited to stay for entire service – optional)

20 –  Bridging Sunday for 8^th and 12^th graders. Church lunch and Annual Meeting following 2^nd service

27 – Memorial Day Sunday. Festival Sunday for any groups age 5 and older not meeting

June   

3 – Good-by services for Rev. Michael.   Last Day of Regular RE – Thank you parties

10 – Summer RE (single 10am session) begins
