Our Learning Group sessions are concurrent with Sunday morning services at 9:15 and 11:15. They run one hour and 15 minutes. Youth Group:This group is led by youth with the assistance and support of adult advisors. Youth Group activities come in all shapes and sizes – weekend retreats, social outings, hikes, “God-talk” sessions, volleyball, movies with a message, and fundraisers. There are six components -- Worship, Community, Leadership, Learning, Social Action, Connecting to the Adult UU Community. Youth Group plans and presents Youth Sunday, an annual All Church Sunday. All activities involve adult advisors and often parent volunteers. Youth Group convenes at 11:15 each Sunday. Senior High OWL 11th & 12th gradeThe fourth in the lifespan comprehensive sexuality education curriculum, “Our Whole Lives.” A good time for open, respectful, candid discussions with trained adult leaders. Presented in several weekend workshops. Affirmations: High-school juniors and graduating seniors are to invited spend several Sunday evenings with the ministers, to discuss fundamental religious questions and the UU faith. |
