VOTING AND PUBLIC OPINION IN THE 2008 ELECTION
The 2008 election has already been one of the most engaging, competitive, and controversial elections in recent history, and there are still six months to go before election day. Dr. Dimock, who coordinates political polling for the nonpartisan Pew Research Center in Washington DC, will discuss some of the key factors shaping voter preferences in the 2008 primaries and how voters are looking ahead to the general election. He will also discuss the polling process, the different kinds of polls available, and how pollsters are adapting to changing American lifestyles and new technologies. |
