April 10 and May 1 Congregation Budget Conversations at 10:30-11:30 and 12:30-2 following each service: Presentation and discussion of draft operating budget for next fiscal year. This is YOUR opportunities to provide feedback, input, comment and propose changes to the budget.

April 10 Second Sunday Social Justice Conversation at 10:30-11:15 between
services: Tentative topic de jour General Assembly with a focus on learning about Congregational Study Action Issues, Statements of Conscience, and Issues of Immediate Witness. Opportunity to ask any questions you might have including about how delegates and congregations can have input.

April 27 Annual Reports Due

May 7 Social Justice Semi-Annual Meeting, Saturday 9-11:30: This congregation-wide gathering will be a chance to learn about emerging ideas for the Social Justice program at UUCA and to provide input. Among the topics of discussion will be our process, our covenant, Social Justice staffing and how we organize.

May 7 "Supporting LGBTQ Youth: Community Needs and Resources" 1-5 at Cedar Lane
UUC, sponsored by UU's for Social Justice (UUSJ) in the metro-area with Equality UUCA (that's us), Metro DC PFLAG, the Rainbow Youth Alliance, Western Fairfax PFLAG, Fairfax LGBTQ Youth (FLY), UUA LGBT Ministries and the Prince George's County LGBTQ Youth Task Force. The keynote speaker is Linda Goldman,an educator, therapist and author of "Coming Out, Coming In: Nurturing the Well-Being and Inclusion of Gay Youth." There will be four workshops offered.
