Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, VA

A diverse, welcoming community of open hearts and minds since 1948

Want to let you know that a short term (about two months/three meetings) SJ Immigration Task Force was recently organized.  The are looking at what immigration efforts we have planned to make sure we have a balanced immigration program for the congregation.  First they are gathering a baseline on what we're doing, will identify gaps in programming and outreach, are reviewing resources, and finally will make recommendations for next steps and propose further work groups to take our immigration programming to the next level.  The group expects to complete their work by early March. Members: Kimberly Niles, MJ Schmelzer, John Sutton, and Agmar Raymundo.
