Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, VA
A diverse, welcoming community of open hearts and minds since 1948
Hello Friends --
AFAC has a multi-tierred effort underway to boost access to fresh, local produce for its clients -- one of these is the the Plant-A Row project.
P-a-R engages supporters to literally plant a row of vegetables that will be dedicated to AFAC at harvest time. The Monthly Service Projec tthis month will be staged in morning and afternoon sessions, with lunch between.

SATURDAY
MARCH 24, 2012
at the
Arlington Church of the Brethren
300 N. Montague Street
Arlington, VA
10:00 am: Packaging Seeds for distribution
12 noon: lunch ($5)
1:00 pm: Door-to-door seed distribution
I know that UUCA has a Social Justice meeting that morning, but afterwards come grab some seed packets and head out either for the neighborhood around the Brethren Church, or head back to UUCA and walk the streets around the church asking people to plant a row for AFAC.
Or if you can distribute seed packets any other time, please
contact me and I will bring some for you to church if you can't get to the Brethren Church that day.
Best -
Laura Dely, MSP Coordinator
