Nov. 25 -- Human Rights and Social Justice Coordinator: This job posting is currently active. I (June Herold) found it online. One requirement is a Doctorate, but you never know, there might be an exception. It's in Falls Church: The Human Rights Coordinator will work simultaneously on several issues including: trafficking of Vietnamese abroad, religious freedom in Vietnam, and refugee rights protection, among other issues.

The main functions of this position include: (1) managing an international program to combat labor exploitation and human trafficking; (2) representing BPSOS and the Vietnamese-American voice in national and international settings; (3) advocating for specific human rights solutions by educating key decision makers and influencers; and (4) developing and growing a network of volunteers and donors dedicated to human rights and social justice work.

Founded in 1980, BPSOS is a community-based organization with 14 different locations across the United States and a growing international presence. Its programs serve thousands of refugees and immigrants in the US each year, and its network of Vietnamese-language media reaches some 150,000 Vietnamese American households. The Coalition to Abolish Modern-day Slavery in Asia (CAMSA), of which BPSOS is a co-founder and sponsoring member, is an anti-trafficking coalition operating in Malaysia.---form more information go here.
