Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, VA

A diverse, welcoming community of open hearts and minds since 1948

One of our UUCA members, church volunteer, and my friend, Pasi, has been assigned a public housing efficiency apartment in DC after 4 years on the list!  However, it does not come with any furnishings.  We've collected a few items, but many things are still needed.  If you can help out with anything on the list, please let me know.

Microwave

Bar Stools

Shower curtain and hooks

Coffee Maker

Dishes

Glasses

Flatware

Pots and Pans (especially skillet, large pasta pot, sauce pan, baking sheet)

Tupperware-type containers

Television

Dresser

Laundry Baskets

Broom or swiffer

Iron and ironing board

Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, tissues)

Cleaning products

Gift cards to local stores to purchase these items are also appreciated.

Thanks for helping one of our own as she makes her way to independence.

I have a small 12" (diagonal) television that she's welcome to have. Not digital or HD but

it works fine. Let me know if I should bring it (and where). I'll understand if it's too small!

Do you still need these items? I can give you an ironing board [a tiny one that would sit on a table], a large pasta pot, Shower curtain and hooks.  Jane Staub
