Hi this is a tuffy to answer online. Put in on your list for our next meeting. tx
I get the reply without seeing the earlier message. There is something I am looking for -- the user seeing the whole chain -- in terms of coherence of a line of thought and conversation. This is not a criticism -- so much is so good, so good -- it is just a "lens" I come out of from the "Caucus" platform experience, a long time ago.
Most people are likely to not realize that there is an online indicator, meaning you show up in the chat room and also on your profile it says you're online. When you don't sign out but are still connected to the internet, the site will think you are still signed in for about 15 minutes, maybe a little more. Once you disconnect from the internet, the site should require you to sign in when you click a link from email.
I definitely missed the online indicator until you mentioned it -- if that is the sort of hierarchical indent line. Anyway to make that a little bolder?
unfortunately no. i've put in a request to Ning....folks there know the online indicator and chat functionality are obscurred...they are working on it
That is the kind of thing I feel very pushy about -- not you but them. The point is that the system needs to support an intellectual continuum. This is not a chat area.
June, How can I best invite those that are already beta testers to the ADORE group? I will of course clearly let them know that they are not to invite anyone else into the group durring beta testing. I'd like to be able to select all and do it in one fell swoope. THX
if you are positive they are beta testers then just add them one by one.
I don't know the email addresses of those in this network that are not yet my friends. How do I invite them to the ADORE group easily?
Good question for FAQs and training materials.
you have to invite them one by one through the message system. The reason is that if the system allowed anyone to invite anyone in the network then spam would run rampent.
I see there are stars after the latest sermon. Are we supposed to be rating the sermons? If so, how do we do that? jackie
