Can you help us serve LGBT teens on March 10?
Fellow UUCA'ers --
On Saturday, March 10, our church (through our Equality UUCA group) will be hosting an all-day conference on bullying and related topics, together with an evening dance, for LGBT teens across the greater DC area. We're expecting at least 70 teens, possibly more than a hundred, and we'll need adult volunteers to help with all manner of things, from set-up to chaperoning to washing dishes.
Can you help us out? If you can give us 2 to 4 hours of your time that day, we'll find a way to fit you into a slot to help us make the conference run smoothly. Contact me directly by emailing me at m_defrancis@yahoo.com.
