“The past was always there, lived inside of you, and it helped to make you who you were. But it had to be placed in perspective. The past could not dominate the future.” ―
Recently our Interim Senior Minister Rev. Terasa Cooley preached on UUCA’s history. As with any institution, there are many shining moments which we can remember with pride, and other times when, as individuals and as a congregation, we could have done better. We do not wish to dwell on the past, but to understand it enough to build a positive future.
We invite you to read Rev. Terasa’s sermon here: Living With History 1-27-19.
We will be posting more pieces of our church history here in the weeks to come.
